I spent the day at the field shucking corn
December 12, 1868 ~ Saturday
12. I attended the ^I had the bone taken out of hand up to the last Joint^
December 13, 1868 ~ Sunday
13. Sunday In company with & & Mrs I rode to & attended
the sunday school & addressed the children we held
a meeting with the people Brother Dunford spoke 20 M[inutes]
Joseph F Smith 30 M[inutes] & W Woodruff 20 Minutes
we then rode to & held a Meeting J F. Smith
spoke one hour & W Woodruff 30 minutes. We then rode
to & stoped with Brother Haight we held
a meeting in the Evening W Woodruff spoke 65 M[inutes]
J F Smith 40 M[inutes] & G Dunford 20 M[inutes] 18 miles
December 14, 1868 ~ Monday
Dec 14. we drove to Broke down the carriage
which hendred some 3 Hours Mrs & my self Dined at
Brother McFarsons we then drove to 26 miles
we held 2 meetings Brothers &
Preached in the one ward & W. Woodruff in another
ward. I saw the for the first
time in themy life, many people were to work upon it
we spent the night at Brother Wests. ^ gave 46 Endowments
sealed 36 couple^
December 15, 1868 ~ Tuesday
15 We drove to & stoped with Brother
Mrs & myself stoped with our Daughter 22 M[iles]
. ^ gave 65 Endowments sealed 38 c.^
We held a meeting in the Evening W Woodruff spoke
{in the } one hour spoke 40 Minutes
December 16, 1868 ~ Wednesday
16. We drove North 5 miles to See &
his wife our Daughter & returned to 10.
we held a meeting in the Evening
& W. Woodruff spoke we had a good meeting
December 17, 1868 ~ Thursday
17 I rode Back to & had some talk with him
& his {They do not live happily together.} I returned to & rode
to Willow Creek Brother & had
held a meeting & Preached to the people I Joined them &
& rode to we again held 2 meetings here Brother
went with me & Brother with J F. Smith
I spoke one hour followed By Farr. 22 Miles
