Orleans and I must say that it is ceartainly a place of Business
and all life hurrie and bustle but the working people look more contented
than in England, and apear more Respectable and free Just as if one

the people in New Orleans are a sallow complexion sort of people ^and unhealty^
sort of people or as if they wer treubled with a continuance of ill
health. I have not heard of much sickness I have seen some
people from Manchester but not Saints. I desire you to
