Salt Lake City, Nov. 17^th, 1887.

To President Wilford Woodruff, in reply to letter
of Nov. 16^th, 1887, requesting me to perform
missionary labor in the Southern States.

Dear Brother:

I am perfectly
willing to assist in promulgating the principles
of the everlasting Gospel, and shall be ready,
per your instructions, to leave this city Tues-
day, Dec. 13^th, 1887.
