Sept 101 1874
we are having vary hard frosts nights which is killing our fodder
we threshed our wheat By 12 oclok 264 Bushels of wheat on
8 Acres Being 33 Bushels to the Acre I was vary weary at night

September 12, 1874 ~ Saturday

12. I cut Pcorn & Dug potatoes the fodder of the corn was mostly killed
[FIGURE] I wrote a letter to Harvy Parkins about a Threshing Machine

September 13, 1874 ~ Sunday

13 Sunday I was quite unwell did not Attend Meeting attended the prayer
[FIGURE] circle in the Evening I wrote to Mrs Woodruff.

September 14, 1874 ~ Monday to September 15, 1874 ~ Tuesday

14, & 15 I spent the cTime cutting corn I Received 3 letters from Brinton
[FIGURE] Phebe & James S Balder

September 16, 1874 ~ Wednesday

16. I spent the day in the Endowment House we Baptized 494 for
the dead & confirmed them I confirmed 176. D H Wells sealed
96 couple for the Dead W Woodruff 25 couple I was vary weary

September 17, 1874 ~ Thursday

17 [FIGURE] I wrote 2 letters to Phebe & J. Stockings spent the day at the
field drawing corn & cutting it 6 M[iles]

September 18, 1874 ~ Friday

18 I spent the day drawing & cutting corn I returned to the
city & spent the night Sarah & Mary Woodruff was there
they had come down from Randolph with Brother Moses

September 19, 1874 ~ Saturday

19. [FIGURES] President Brigham Young was vary sick to day
His councillors & the Twelve met at Presidents Youngs House
and administered to him by the laying on of Hands we then went
to the Prayer Circle Room & Prayed for him I met with the
[FIGURE] Agricultural Board in the Evening

September 20, 1874 ~ Sunday

20. Sunday I attended Meeting in the New Tabernacle
O Pratt Preached one hour & 20 Minuts on the 29 chapter
of Isaiah gave the whole History of the visitation of the Angels
to Joseph Smith the coming forth of the Book of Mormon & the
Early History of the Church I met in the prayer Circle
of the Twelve in the Evening at the close I went to the farm
