Bro. L. O. Littlefield sailed for N. York
before I arrived had 50 days passage to N. Y. he has just
returned to Liverpool with Bro. Cutler. But I shall
send him directly to council Bluffs. His conduct
has been such that he can be of no use abroad.
Bro. Milo Andrews came across the ocean with
me. He came into N. Y. after I had gone on board
the ship with my family. He requested the priviledge
of taking with him his wife. He saysid Bro. Kimball
advised him to leave his far wife with her friends
in York state, when arriving with her in york
state he found her friends had removed to Wisconsin and not knowing where to leave
her he concluded to bring her to N. Y.
I told him that I would not counsel him
any way either to take his wife or leave her that he must act entirely upon his own respon-
sibility with regard to her. He saysid that bro.
Kimball told him to act according to circum
stances & he therefore concluded to bring
her. I have lately learned that it was contrary
to Prest Young's mind for him to take her to England. I have therefore counseled him to
send her to the Bluffs which he will do as
soon as she is able; she has just been confined
with a boy. Bro. Andrews is now doing good, and
I hope he may continues. The work is rolling
mightily in this country. Robins, Cordon, Cutler &
