My Dear Emma

I receved your Letter of Feb 20 where
you speak concerning Asahel. In reply I will say that
I wrote Asahel in Answer to his Letter of Feb 7, &
wrote on the 12 I have been looking for an Answer
from him Ever since. In that letter I asked him
to write & tell me what He wanted to build what
kind of a House & at what cost I have asked in
my Letter to you if He received that Letter I have
not received any Answer from any one I told
him in that Letter I would give him to begin
with $200 in cash to help buy material, and I
would get the Church to do the carpenters work
if I could and I would do what Els I could
you want me tell Deferente what I could do
for him that is sumthing I cannot do for
I do not know what that Bill will do if that
Bill will permit probablly can get him $400
in cash But I think you have had acquired
Enough with me to know that I do not promise
Wife children or friends to perform Earnstly &
cannot do I would rather do more than I
promise then to promise more than I can do
I want to know if Asahel got my Letter

did not then thare is sumthing wrong with the
