Trenton Mi March 25 1849

Dear Brother Woodruff it is pleasure that
Take my pen to inform you of my health and
Location at the present immeadiately after I saw
you in Boston I left for Sulivan this state
where I found my wifes Reatives they were
anxious to see her and sent her money to pay
her pasage on to make them A visit her health
being very poor I thought I might be a benefit
to and I acordingly wrote to her to come if she
desired to my She acordingly came an arived
here about the first of december I in the
meantime have been falowing at my trade
inasmuch as I could find work to do
buisnes of all kinds in this part of the country
has been exceedingly dull we hope to get Ready
to go to the west by another fall if not before
I we remain steafast in the faith of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints
and anxiously look for the Redeemtion of Zion
and the Restoration of the people of God I want
to hear from you and the Church very much
I wish you would write me a long letter
Full of good councill I as I have had very
intelagence concerning the the Church since
I saw you Must Now close by subscribing
