Huntington, O. B.

Springville, Utah,

Pres. Willford Woodruff
and the Twelve Apostles.

Dear Brethren,

I ^am^ happy to say that I
have compledted the work that fell
to my lot to do for the Pisgah
Burying Ground; and I had much
pleasure in doing it, both for the
work itself and for the oportunities
it afforded me of intercourse with Mr.
A. C. White who so kindly offered
the ground to President John Taylor

He has proven himself to me,
a gentleman and liberal minded
friend—has transacted all the
business there, necessary for fencing
the Lot and building the monu-
ment, which now ^is^ completed,
without making any charge for

his services. In order that you
may feel the breath of his spirit,
I send you his last letter to me—
also his final report of the business
transacted which found me in
debt $30.50 of which I paid $18.50
of my own money and forwarded
the whole Bal. due 2 days after
receiving his statement.

I sincerely hope you will
give particular attention to Mr. White's
wish "that some one from here
will call on him."

In all our deal in figures
and money our accounts agree
exactly.

Pres. Taylor requested me to
write and send to Mr. White often
our papers which I have done
to the best of my ability.

Sent him one volume of the
Contributor 1888 as regular as they
came to me—send also "The News"

containing Doctrinal pieces
and outr^a^geous acts of Govt officers—

Logan Ogden & Utah Papers.

Mr. Whites letter & statement
I should like to file among my
Journal papers.

If you have any advice
or corrections, I will receive
gladly.

Hopeing and praying
constantly for your welfare

I remain your Brother
