Benedetto Sangiovanni (1781-1853) was born in 1781 in Laurino, Salerno, Italy. He married an unknown woman about 1799; separated before 1832. He married Susannah M. Rogers on 5 Nov. 1833 in New York City, New York Co., New York. He was visited by Wilford Woodruff several times in 1840 and 1841 in London, Middlesex, England. He died 13 Apr. 1853 in Brighton, Sussex, England.
