John Jaques

John Jaques (1827-1900) was born 7 Jan. 1827 in Market Bosworth, Leicestershire, England. He was the son of Thomas Jaques and Mary Ann Heighington. He married Zilpah Loader on 31 Oct. 1853 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about 1846. He served with Wilford Woodruff in church and community positions in Utah throughout their lives. He died 1 Jun. 1900 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
