Lyman Wight

Lyman Wight (1796-1858) was born 9 May 1796 in Fairfield, Herkimer Co., New York. He was the son of Levi Wight Jr. and Sarah Corbin. He married Harriet Benton in 1823 in Henrietta, Monroe Co., New York; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 14 Nov. 1830. He and Wilford Woodruff served together in various church positions from about 1834 to about 1848, and they corresponded occasionally until 1858. He died 31 Mar. 1858 in Texas.
