Millen Atwood

Millen Atwood (1817-1890) was born 24 May 1817 in Willington, Tolland Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Dan Atwood and Polly Sawyer. He married Relief Cram on 20 Apr. 1848 in Winter Quarters (later Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska); participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 2 Aug. 1841 in the Mississippi River. He spoke at meetings that Wilford Woodruff attended from 1856 to 1890, and Wilford Woodruff spoke at his funeral. He died 17 Dec. 1890 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
