Robert Blashel Thompson
Robert Blashel Thompson (1811-1841) was born 1 Oct. 1811 in Great Driffield, Yorkshire, England. He married Mercy Rachel Fielding on 4 Jun. 1837 in Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio. He was baptized in May 1836 in Upper Canada. He was an editor of the Times and Seasons in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois and received many letters from Wilford Woodruff concerning the newspaper. He died 27 Aug. 1841 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois.
