Samuel Brocklebank Hardy

Samuel Brocklebank Hardy (1804-1899) was born 21 Sep. 1804 in Bradford, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Benjamin Hardy and Hannah Brocklebank. He married Caroline Rogers on 17 Dec. 1825 in Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 9 May 1842 in Georgetown, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He hosted Wilford Woodruff several times in 1849 in Massachusetts, traveled with him in 1850 to Utah Territory, and hosted church meetings that he attended from about 1870 to 1886. He died 9 Sep. 1899 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah.
