Samuel Smith

Samuel Smith (1807-1850) was born 11 Jun. 1807 in Clarksville, Montgomery Co., Tennessee. He was the son of Thomas Smith and Sarah Harvey. He married Martisha Smoot on 25 Jan. 1825, and they were the parents of Emma Smith, who was sealed to Wilford Woodruff. He was taught by Wilford Woodruff and baptized in Mar. 1835. He died 28 Jun. 1850 near Kearny, Buffalo Co., Nebraska.
