Sarah Amison Whittaker

Sarah Amison (Ameyson) Whittaker (1805-1857) was christened 16 May 1805 in Longton, Staffordshire, England. She was the daughter of Edward Amison and Sarah Keen. She married Andrew Isaac Whittaker on 11 Jun. 1832 in Wolstanton, Staffordshire, England, and they had six children. She and her husband were mentioned by Wilford Woodruff in a letter to George Albert Smith dated 7 Jan. 1841. She died 9 Nov. 1857 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
