Sarah Burt Beman

Beman (Beaman), Sarah (Sally) Burt (1775-1840), was born on 27 Apr. 1775 at Lyme, New London County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Joseph Burt and Elizabeth Peck. She married Alvah Beman on 18 Aug. 1796. She was baptized in New York by 1835. She moved to Kirtland, Geauga County, Ohio where she was associated with Wilford Woodruff. She died in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois on 29 Aug. 1840.
