To the First Presidency
President's Office,
City.

Dear Brethren:

Not being prepaired to give you
a detailed report of the Indian Territory Mission,
I will give you an idea of what is being done
by the following:

We have had 27 Elders in the
field during the year, two was released in Nov.
on account of sickness, one of those afflicted
with an ailment he had been troubled with before.
We now have 21 traveling Elders from Zion
and 4 Local Elders in the field. Making
a total, inclugding the Local Elders, of 25.
Baptisms at our last report 123, this year
35, making a total of 158. We have emigrated
9, and apostatized two leaving 147, of these
we have but 109 members. Children blessed
at last report 53, since 31, total 84.

Distributed 1146 tracts and a great many books,
an account of which, we have not received as yet.
Held 417 meetings, with an average attendance
of 21. We have organized 4 Branches,
and started 6 Sunday Schools, reports of which have
not been submitted. We have completed another
meeting house, dedicated this summer, built by
our Elders at a cost of $270, the best log house
in the Choctaw Nation. At this writing all are
well and prosperous in the Indian Territory Mission
as far as I know. Very Respctfully

Andrew Kimball.

I am not clear whether it will be
best to add to the Indian Mission as
here proposed, thus continuing four
United States Missions east of us, or
divide the Indian Territory Mission
between the Northern and Southern
States Missions, or assign it to one or the
other of them. I am indeed inclined to
the latter idea.
