Morgan City June 29th, 1890

Prest Wilford Woodruff.

Dear Brother.

I gladly except the call made
of me, as a missionary to the
Northern States. And will endea[v]or
to perform my mission to the
best of my ability. I think I
can make arangements to
start at as an early a date
as may be decided on.

I am a single man and have
not had my endowments. Please
advise in regards to it.

I remain your brothe
in the Gospel.

Orson Porter.
