now endeavor to answer your
letter of the 15, inst. I can
say that I feel my inability
in trying trying to preach
the Gospel to a learned world,
but nevertheless I feel to
respond to the call, and
trust that by the help of
the Lord I may be able
to preform an honorable
mission, and be of some use
in promulgating the Gospel
of Jesus Christ.
