Dear Brother, Yours of the
23rd is before me, it having been forwarded
to me by my Father.
It calls me on a mission to the Southern
States, and desires me to be ready to start
on Aug. 19, 1897.
I humbly accept the call; but feel my
weakness, my lack of experience, and my
inability to perform such an important
work; yet I am willing to go, and know
the Lord will help me in it if I will
be humble and faithful.
I know of nothing, at present, that
will prevent my being ready to start
at the time specified.
