Fagalii, .

To the First Pres.
Dear Brethren

I forward you a few lines
that you may know concerning
our welfare, that we are well
and being prospered.

Ten baptisms have been performed
here since last I wrote, but
rather discouraging reports come
from Toga. I will enclose
Elder Welkers last letter to me.

Elder Sears has been honor-
ably released to return home
with this mail. We had no
money to pay his fair, but a
kind friend loaned us the
amt.

We are somewhat distressed
financially here at present and
especially on Toga where rent etc.

that was procured on sunday?
For instance a wild pig that

eat it when it is placed before
us?

Elder Sears has fulfilled
a noble mission. He has been
troubled some of late with in-
digestion, with a severe pain
in the region of the kidneys.
This probably brought about his
release a month sooner than it
would have been otherwise given.
He labored assiduously up to the
last, but I feared his health
might be permanently impaired.

This matter does not need
mention in connection with his
return, but thought it right
that you should understand
the details.

of hogs which are set before them for meat.
If the meat is wholesom, they are hungry,
and are not fasting they had better eat
when they have a chance. J. F. S.
