Discourse 1857-04-14
Elder Woodruff spoke of the importance of Bishops watching especially at the present time as there were many gathering between the Mountains to go East, there had been a span of Horses taken away last night at the West Mountain, the Lariats had been cut and the Animals were missing, he exhorted the Bishops to watch and for them to set others to watch also, and as far as possible dont allow any one to go away in debt either to the Emigrating Fund or any one else for it was nothing but right that people should pay their debts before they are allowed to go away.
