May 26, 1873 ~ Monday

26 we took breakfast then rode in carriages to the Junction
then took cars to Ogden & on to Salt Lake 60 Miles
A folded letter/box I received 2 letters from Susan & Arroabella I attended
the school of the Prophets & spoke to the Assembly

Elder W. Woodruff spoke of the drivings and fightings of the Indians by the Government, the hand of the Lord was over that people, there is a great work for them to do, in building up Zion & the New Jerusalem, they will certainly be inspired, and ^receive^ revelations from God, and we who have come into the Gospel a little before them, and we should exercise faith for them, and pray for them.
