Letter from Charles Ellis, 7 April 1891
President Woodruff, Dear Sir: You may remem- ber my expressed wish to meet the Presidents of stakes at Conference. I am, however, confined to my room and regret that I cannot be present this morning. But if you will say to those present that I am desirous of working in the counties North of Salt Lake with my lectures, and give them my encouragement you see fit to make appointments for me, you will do all that I could ask and more than I could hope to do. I am, very truly, yours, Charles Ellis. P. S. I have been south to Nephi and Gunnison.
