President Wilford Woodruff, City; Dear Brother:- If it meets your mind and is not inconsistent with the other duties Elder George Reynolds has to perform, I should be pleased to procure his services as lecturer before our advanced Book of Mormon Class in the College. It would be necessary that he spend in the College only one hour per week, as in the past. I am very grateful to you and him for the assistance rendered us in the past in this regard, and would very highly appreciate a continuation of the favor. Logan, Utah, Prest Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother here in the Temple we are very short of competent recorders we have had Missionary help from time to time but not sufficient to keep up with our recording, as the dailey current work takes the most of the time of our permant recorders, I have recently called upon Bro James T. Hammond of Logan to come and assist us in our recording work. He is here to day, and tells me that He has been called upon to take a Mission, and is prepareing to go this fall or earley spring, if you deem it wise and prudent to releace Him from His foureighn Mission and let Him put in the same time here in the Temple in the recording work it would be a greate help to us, Bro Hammon does not request this Himself but I understand from Him He would be willing to make the Chang of His field of Labor if you and your councellors will approve of it please let me hear how you feel about it Respectfully yours M.
