Woodside Emery Co Utah President Wilford Woodruff Dear Brother, I am just in recipt of letter dated Nov 25th requesting me to take a mission to the Northern States which I hasten to answer. I have two reasons either of which I believe would excuse me for not feeling able to respond to the call on so early ^short^ notice. The First is the very poor condition of My Wifes health whom has been very Ill and constantly under the care of a Physician for the past four months.
