Salt Lake City, Utah, Wilford Woodruff, Esq., George Q. Cannon, Esq., Joseph F. Smith, Esq., First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salt Lake City. Gentlemen: The National Irrigation Congress will hold its next session at Phoenix, Arizona, December 15th-17th next. Knowing the great interest you gentlemen take in all matters per- taining to the subject of irrigation, and thinking you may contemplate attending this meeting, I take pleasure in tendering you the use of our Vice-President & General Manager's private car for trip to Phoenix and return. The Denver & Rio Grande, Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe and the Santa Fe, Prescott & Phoenix railroads join with us in making this service complimentary. I sincerely hope that you can arrange to accept the courtesy hereby extended and at your early convenience (within the next ten days) would be pleased to receive your favorable reply in order that we may perfect all arrangements.
