I think it probable that I shall spend a few weeks
in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, & in
various parts of the east among the churches & world
before I go to Nauvoo. But I shall not spend
much time any whare after I land in N Y. untill
I see you & Willford. [FIGURE] I shall expet a letter from
you when I land in New York. My object in
writing at this time is to let you know the time
we sail, & I have an opportunity of sending this letter
a Number of days before we sail, let us share
in your prayers you have ours. I neve[r] [illegible due to stamp]
the Letter which you sent to me by Elder Hyde
I spoke to him about it he says all the Ameri[c]an
letters was Mailed at Liverpool but I have not got
it yet, perhaps you will not be able to read all
this scribling but do the best you can at it.
