Time Has Proven that I Have Not
been blessed with even an ordinary amount of
children. This However Has been no ones fault
but it is attributable to Bad Health on the Part
of the Loving [Eliza Ann Udall Tenney|Wife]].
I am advancing
in years but this does not take away the desire
to Have a Posterity sufficiently numerous
to be well remembered, so much so that My
name will never be blotted out of the great register
in the Kingdom of our God.

I Have refused chances that May Have Proved
a blessings to Me, & since My return Home
I Have felt that if agreeable to My Brethren
and the Lord would open the way I would
add at least one More to My self
and at the same time do some work in the Temple
for friends. More particularly the work that My father & Mother failed to do which is
