me on this mission thus far, & have been enabled
to perfect much of a union in many conferences &
Branches & at the present time they are Baptising through
most of the confrences. One Rigdonite Missionary
has made his arival & we understand others are following
I have not yet been able to get the name of the
one that has come, he has been careful to keep away
from me, his stay in Liverpool was of vary short duration
for though he tried hard but he said he could do no good
He went to Manchester Conference & he met with equal
poor success he has now gone to Ireland & if those
that follow him do not have better success they will
not get pay for their trouble for the Saints in
this land have nothing to do with Sidney Rigdon or
his followers for they are strangers. We are pretty well
prepared for any Rigdonites that may visit this country
the bars we will put up. While I was in London Elder Hyde sent a letter to Elder Ward to put his address before
the High priest quorum & send him the prophets for he was
poor, so I found his pamphlet in print on my return to
Liverpool 1500 copies, so thes pamphlets will be circulated abroad
among the chuches which will help block up Rigdonism.
we were Blessed with a fine son aon the 18th of Aug July
I Blessed him on the 8th day & call him Joseph myself &
family are all well. The late Steam Araude Brought
me Times & Neighbor from Nauvoo as late as July 2nd & letters
from Boston & New York & Philadelphi all of which bring
me on this mission thus far, & have been enabled
