In the perusal of the publications of the Day, I discover a
Number of men who seem to be afflicted with the torm-
ents of Hell & misery, and they belch forth the filth, and
wrath, & indignation of their corrupt souls against the
Latter Day Saints, because the God of Heaven has set his
hand to esstablish his Kingdom & Zion upon the Earth
and has raised up his prophet Joseph to preach the
gospel of Christ, & hath organzed his Church upon
the Earth and to administer in the ordinances of Life
& salvation unto the children of men and hath raised
up men to go forth and preach the fulness of the Everlasting
Gospel
unto all Nations under Heavens, and because of
these things the souls of many men are sorely vexed and
troubled and they labor with all the power they possess to
Destroy the Church and Kingdom of God from all the Earth
and to put to Death evry man who advocates the Law of God
and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But there is one principle
that I wish to impress strongly upon the minds of Evry Saint
of God on Earth, and upon the presidents, Governors, Judges &
all the rulers of our Nation and the Rulers of all Nations
on Earth and of the priest and people of the whole

Christian world. Jew and Gentile and all men that breath
the life and that is That truth Eternal truth cannot be
anhilated, cannot be Destroyed, it canot Die. The Law of God,
Faith, hope, Charity. The gospel of Jesus Christ The Holy with all
of its ordinances the Holy priesthood and the Law of God are
Eternal Just immortal Eternal & ^&^ Everlasting, and they are as free &
independent of the power of man, as the pillars of Heaven or the
God Throne of God. Prisions cannot confine them, fire cannot
burn them, the seas canot drown them, No storm can ^w^reck
them No gulph can confine them & No grave can entomb them
men who possess these principls & advocate them may be imprisioned or
burned with fire, Drowned in the sea, sawn assunder, beheaded or
crusefied, but the principle of Eternal life, light & truth, the Gospel
of the son of God & the kingdom of God with its Laws & the Holy priest-
hood are beyond thy reach & power O feble man, republics
may be Destroyed, Kingdoms overturned, Empires broaken up
Thrones cast the sun turned to Darkness & the moon to Blood
& the stars fall from Heaven or the Heaven & Earth pass away
yet not one jot or Tittle of there Eternal principle ^can^ ever ^be^ destroyed
or hend[er]ed by the power of man from fulfilling their mission
on the Earth or Hender the God of Heaven from fulfilling his
purposedes in this last Dispensation & fullness of time for
these principls will stand the wreck of Nations or of worlds

I wish the inhabitants of the Earth before they commence war
against God & his Christ, his prophets, Apostles, Elders, & people would
stop & reflect upon these solomn truths. When Jesus of Nathzareth
the son of God, the saviour of the world the King of the Jews, came to
Jerrusalem and offered the Gospel of Life & salvation to the
Jewish Nations & to the world He was the most unpopular man
in all Judea, when he cast up out Devils the cry of the priest
was through Beelsebub the prince of Devels, when He opened the Eyes of
the blind the cry was, give God the Glory for as to this man we know
he was a sinner and the cry of the priest & Pharasees was crusify &
crucify him vary well they did crucify him, but Did they
crucify & put to death Gothe Gospel of Christ, the Holy pristhood, or
Eternal Life, No verily No, they had not power to do this, but
the moment that Jesus gave up the Ghost upon the cross the immortal
spirit of the son of God was free from the pains of the suffering taberna-
cle, but that immortal spirit still told the keys of kingdom of
God & the Holy priesthood & while that tabernacle in which Jesus
had suffered lay in the Tomb Jesus himself went & preached to
the spirits of in prision, and proclaimed Liberty to the cap-
tives [Isaiah 61:1] & preached the Gospel of Salvation to the spirits in prision
who had once been Disobediant in the Days of Noah [1 Peter 3:19-20] & Jesus
had power without his body to preach the Gospel of Life & salvation
to those who were bound in prisions and when He finished his
mission of three Days & a half his spirit returned back to his

Tabernacle, and not with standing He had been derided & spit upon
and crowned with a crown of thorns & crusified [crucified] ^By the High priest of Jerrusalem^ He now took upon
himself his Immortal body & his power to rule & reign as king
of king & Lord of Lords. He burst the tomb & the gates of death, and
held the keys which gave him power over Death & Hell and was the first
fruits of the Resurrection. He appeared in his Immortal body to the
Apostles & some of the holy women after which He ascended to the right
hand of God the Father where He will reign untill He puts all enemies
under his feet After his Ressurection He also appeared to the Nephites [3 Nephi 11]
and also visited the ten tribes of Israel when they return they
will bring their records with them, which will give an account of the
adminstration of the Savior among them Again the Apostles & diciples
of Jesus followed in the footsteps of their Master & was valient in
the Testimony of Jesus up to the hour of their Death some were
sawn assunder, some stoned, some beheaded, & some crucified, but
all the wrath of the High priest of Herrod or Nero though they had
power to Destroy the body they had no power to destroy one principle
of the Gospel of Eternal Life or the Holy priesthood or its ordinances
but they ^have^ learned a fearful ^lesson^ in puting to Death the Lords annointed
& sheding the Blood of prophets, Apostles & the Saints of God as all Generations
will to the End of time. The Jews said let his blood be upon us
& our children and the Lord took them to their word and they have
been trampled under the feet of the Gentiles for Eighteen hundred years
and millions of them have been put to Death ^in evry form^ & many thousands crusified
and the yoak is not yet broaken of[f] their necks but all those
Apostles who were put to Death will hold the keys of the kingdom of God
