Caiaphas (NT)

Caiaphas was the son-in-law of Annas. He was a high priest and a Sadducee who presided over the trial of Jesus Christ by the Sanhedrin before Jesus was sent to Pilate and sentenced to death by crucifixion. Caiaphas is a scriptural figure in the New Testament referred to by Wilford Woodruff.
