relatives whatever in this country,
is little acquainted (having been
in hiding until only one year
before herhusband's demise), and
is now left with two little boys
aged 4 years and 9 months
respectively, without sufficient
support, we feel it needful
that something should be done
for her.
I offer her free rent if she
can obtain means to build two
rooms to my house in the 20 Ward,
this city, and the widow herself
feels that she would thus also
have a father near for her little-
ones. This with the income above
mentioned and a little of her
own earning, would enable her
to not fall a burden to any-one
For that purpose about $500.00
would be needed and confidingly
we ask that the church pay her
that amount, or as much of it
as you may deem proper under
these circumstances.
