for us to go to San Jose and
then return to Menloe Park,
where he is to meet us with
a carriage and show us
around. We are to stop
at his house, and on Wed-
nesday he is to bring us
back to town in time for
the Sacramento train. We
have secured rooms at the Grand Hotel there for the
Fair. In this we have been
fortunate.
