Josiah Gile Hardy

Josiah Gile Hardy (1813-1894) was born 17 Mar. 1813 in Bradford, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Sylvanus Hardy and Mary Boynton. He married Sarah Clark Parker on 17 Mar. 1835 in Bradford; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 6 Nov. 1842. He corresponded regularly with Wilford Woodruff in 1849, 1850, and 1886, and he hosted Wilford Woodruff in 1850 in Massachusetts. He died 12 Jan. 1894 in Colonia Pacheco, Chihuahua, Mexico.
