Mary Arey Brown
Mary Arey Brown Babbitt (1806-1875) was born 4 Jan. 1806 in Deer Island, Hancock Co., Maine. She was the daughter of Joseph Arey and Abigail Marant. Mary married Charles Brown on 28 Jun. 1825 in Vinalhaven, Knox Co., Maine, and they were the parents of Sarah Elinor Brown, who was sealed to Wilford Woodruff; widowed. She married Lorin Whiting Babbitt on 4 Jan. 1846 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. She was baptized 18 Sep. 1868. She died 26 Mar. 1875 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
