2nd I arose quite Ill with my complaint spent the
day mostly to my room. Elders Kimball & Smith went
in to the city to visit the people found some that
harkend to their testimony. London is the hardest
place I ever visited for esstablishing the gospel. It
is full of evry thing but righteousness, but we do
not feel discouraged in the least we are determined
in the name of the Lord to set up the standard of truth
in this city & to seek out the honest in heart & the
meek from among men & warn all as far as in our
power that the world may be left without excuse
