July 06, 1841 ~ Tuesday

6th We left Portland at 7 o-clock on board the
Bangor the sea was rough & most all was sea
sick we arived in Boston at 6 o-clock in the
evening we spent the night in Boston at the
Layfaett Hotel, I had a vary interesting time in
the evening with Elder Freeman Nickelson Sister
Vose, (57 Temple Street) Sister Cobb & others who
called at our room & spent the evening they were
vary anxious that I should stop & preach with
them but my circumstances would not permit
the distance of the Day 110 miles
