October 16, 1841 ~ Saturday

16th I went over the river to see my family
& while on the road I met with a number of
my old friends & acquaintances among the
number was Elders Nobles & Wm Clayton. Br
Clayton & family were in a distressed situation
with sickness I lade hands upon him. I went to
Father Clarks found my family & spent the night
Willford was some better than he has been
but is still feeble distance 8 miles
