December 13, 1846 ~ Sunday

13th Sunday I spent the day at home
writing in my Journal there is great
wailing and morning among the
Omahas in consequence of the death
of 60 of their warriors the agent
and interpeter of there tribe came
into town to day to hold a council
Mrs Woodruff is quite sick to day
