Thursday April 6th 1854
General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter Day Saints
met this morning in the
Tabernacle of the Lord

The conference opened by singing & Prayer by
President Kimball. President B Young then arose
& & addressed the people upon the business of the
conference the death of Willard Richards filling his
place, Appointing new gathering places for the saint
& many other things the reporters wrote what
was spoken He was followed by President Kimball
