July 06, 1856 ~ Sunday

6th Sunday I had a severe attact of the Rheumatism & did not
attend meeting. President Young preached in the morning & A
Lyman
in the afternoon I attended the prayer meeting in the
evening was vary lame I was called upon in company with A
Lyman to Administer to Sister Mary Pratt who had been in
labour all day. I was mouth I promised her all should be well
with her & her child, in 15 minuts she had a fine boy born

On the I was called upon in company with Amasa Lyman to administer to sister Mary Pratt who had been in labour all day. I was mouth and I promised her that all should be well and in fifteen minutes she had a fine boy born. During the interval to the 24th I spent the time in the Historian's Office, a portion of it in reading History to president Young and made a journey as far as Rush Valley and back
