Dear Brother
In the first place I will ask
you to excuse this small peace of paper. In the seconed place I will
say that I have been trying for nearly a Month to get a Draft
of Brother Calden of £20 for Wilford but have not been able
to do it for want of Blank Forms which they get from
Philadelphia. I have to day put $100 in gold into the Hands of
Brother Cannon for this purpose He says he will write to you
to Morrow to pay him £20. I would like him to visit
London & I wish to pay his Expenses. If you will pay
Wilford the Above Amount it will be an accomodation to me
