23rd Dec Joseph Smith, Birth day Born Dec 23 1805 I Attended a
Party in the 14 ward in celebration of his birth day. A speech was
made by Orson Pratt giving a history of the Prophet Joseph Smith
of the dealings of God with him in the Early rise of the Church &
the Revelations of God to him Elder John Taylor gave an account of
[FIGURE] the death of Joseph Smith in Carthag Jail 27 June 1844
the procedes of this Party went to the Editorress of the womans Exponent
