My Dear Grand Daughter Lucy Woodruff
I have just received your very interesting
Letter, I have ownly time now to
write you a few lines. I am about
72 years old and I do not think I
can write as well as you can.
I think your father can read
your letter much better than
he can mine I am very thankful
