Wilford David & Newton started about 11 oclk
for Bear River valley with 88 sheep, 6 Horses, one cow
& calf & it commenced storming as soon as they started
& rained all the Afternoon I went to the field & dug 3 B[us]hels
of Potatoes in the rain & went home & when I got there I
found the Boys had left all there Beding & I started Brigham
off with the Beding to meet them & carry their Beding
to them He travelled in the rain 14 miles & found them at
Brother Hardies vary wet & cold
