May 31, 1875 ~ Monday

31. I drove home to S. L. City in a cold wind with Sarah D
Woodruff
& her children during the Evening my Brother
Keys crossed A hand pointing to the right A folded letter/box Azmon Woodruff & his wife Elizabeh
Pierce Woodruff
arived at my house I should not have
been much more surprised if an Angel from Heaven
had called upon me It had been 38 years since we had
met before we hardly knew Each other. He had sold out
his place in west Monroe N. Y. and come to Zion to live
President G. A. Smith is vary low He has not been able to
sleep more than 2 minuts at at time for some three hweeks
as soon as he falls asleep his breath stops & he strangles
it is sumthing of the Athsma, they thought He was dying yested
morning He had some more favorable symptoms this evening
