Dear Brother Wilford:
I hope yourself and family
are in the enjoyment of good health. I wish
to make arguments before the Committee on
Territories in favor of the admission of Utah
as a State. To do this effectively I desire
to obtain all the statistical information I
can respecting the productions of our Territory;
the extent of land under cultivation, the
number and cost of irrigating ditches and
canals, the aggregate amount of grain, vege-
tables, fruits, wool, hides, stock of all kinds,
&c. Whatever will contribute to give a correct
idea of what we are and what we have done
will be acceptable. I presume all this
information is in possession of the Society of
which you are the President. Bro. Rockwood
