2 A folded letter/box A hand pointing to the right I received a letter No 7, wrote No 17 to Blake. I
came to the city with L W Hardy. I met in council with the Twelve W Woodruff E Snow was appointed a committee
to make arangements with Mr [{David James|James]] to obtain pipeing to
warm St George Temple

Beaver Brother Woodruff I am sorry to trouble you about that money in the Bank. Soon after you wrote me about it I sent to the Citty by brother Sheppard to call on brother Shetler & collect the interest up to July, he failed to see him for when he could attend to it the Bank was closed I now would like to have the interest up to that time & shall need the principal the first of January as I am about to build some rooms If you have time to call at the Bank & attend to it I should be very much obliged I have no bank as I sent it up when brother Murdock drew
